Junior Client Services Consultant
The Remit
Matter Of Form are looking for a curious, highly organised and ambitious Junior Client Services Consultant to join the team and support client engagements from the ground up. At Matter Of Form, our Consultancy team plays a central role in shaping and delivering our work. This is a hybrid client services and project management position, and at its heart, it’s about building strong relationships, both internally and externally, while ensuring projects run smoothly and deliver exceptional results.
If you’re early in your career, this is the ideal opportunity to step up into a more consultative role, sharpen your client service skills and further your understanding of how well-crafted design solutions contribute towards the success of a business. You’ll also learn what it takes to deliver them. As Junior Consultant, you will work alongside senior team members to deepen your understanding of our clients’ industries, needs and ambitions. Over time, this knowledge will help you contribute to the creation of internal briefs and you’ll begin to understand, scope and shape how we deliver projects.
You’ll organise and attend client meetings, prepare presentations, create schedules, track timelines, and help manage budgets. You’ll build strong relationships with internal practitioners, monitor progress, ensure milestones are met, spot and resolve risks, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
No two days will be the same. You’ll support projects ranging from brand development to digital experience, service innovation to campaign and content production. One day, you might be pulling together research for a brand positioning project; the next you’ll be agreeing timelines with 3rd party website developers. You might be arranging travel ahead of offsite clients visits or photoshoots. Or organising the printing of collateral before attending and participating in co-creation client workshops. Whatever the task, you’ll bring curiosity, organisation and energy to everything you do.
Most likely, you’ll have a couple of years experience working in an agency or consultancy as either an Account Executive or Junior Project Manager. We’re not expecting candidates to tick every single box, as we know you’re early in your career. What we are expecting is someone with the passion, commitment and ambition to take the next step. Someone who is ready to stretch their experience and who wants to broaden their outlook across multiple touchpoints; brand, digital, campaign and experience design. We’re committed to supporting emerging talent in this transformative industry and you’ll be surrounded by a team that will champion your growth, guide your learning, and help you build the confidence to thrive.
