Matter Of Form partner with leading Swiss Hotel Management School to deliver cutting-edge modules to the next generation of hoteliers.
The school prides itself on its ‘learn by doing’ education style, one that resonates with us at MOF and our digital skills training school Experience Haus, which delivers practical design-thinking workshops.
SHMS students gain hospitality knowledge, practical experience and managerial skills that equip them to excel in an international career, with qualifications recognised all over the world. Throughout the course, they eventually decide whether to specialise in hospitality management, events or design.
SHMS is the first hospitality school in the world, and the first institute of higher education in Switzerland, to receive the prestigious “Apple Distinguished School” recognition. This recognition is awarded to centres of educational excellence that demonstrate innovative ways to use technology to support learning goals and inspire student creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking, while cultivating environments in which students are excited and curious about learning.
Here at Matter Of Form, luxury travel and the spirit of adventure run deep in our veins. Paired with our passion for education, this partnership celebrates our penchant for driving innovation in hospitality - allowing us to connect with, teach and inspire the leading lights of tomorrow in the industry.
In April, we will be featuring as guest lecturers. We will be delivering a trend focused webinar to second-year students - discussing our findings in our recent Redefining Luxury in the Era of Thoughtful Travel whitepaper.
As part of SMHS' Design & Innovation Day in May, we will also be hosting a Brand Strategy & Experience Design workshop for final year students, in which they will pair up to deliver an exciting new hospitality brand concept. This will guide them through our Brand Interactions Framework and how we bring hospitality briefs to life.
We look forward to an ongoing partnership with SHMS and working with their talented students to help shape the future of hospitality and travel. We couldn’t be more excited to get going!
