Matter Of Form is delighted to announce the launch of our new whitepaper ‘Building Tomorrow. Today: The future of living and work for the international property and real estate sectors’.

There are a multitude of shifts in how we live and work that will create significant opportunities for developers in upcoming years. Changes in how we travel, live and work are accelerating, impacting each other and altering the designs of new developments.

In an increasingly crowded world, physical locations that offer working and entertainment facilities, as well as respite and sanctuary, are in greater demand. Property developers are well-positioned to extend their propositions through digital touchpoints and physical services.

By finding new ways of owning the customer experience, developers can significantly increase business value. And by owning and operating brands, investments can go beyond traditional real estate valuations.

In this context, Matter Of Form has set out to explore the issues surrounding the physical spaces in which we live and work.

‘Building Tomorrow. Today’ looks to discuss the following drivers: urban-dwelling; younger, mobile workforce; lack of affordable housing; family dynamics; the sharing economy; untethered workforce; the wellness age; and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Fred Moore, COO of Matter Of Form Group, commented “During the course of writing this whitepaper, and interviewing many experts in the property sector, we were struck by how property, and the spaces within which we live and work, seem to be central to some of the great questions of our age. Despite all the gloom and pessimism over Brexit and the rise of populism on the extreme right and left, most people seem to be energised by a vision of the government and the private sector working to radically transform this agenda.”

To celebrate the launch of the whitepaper, we are hosting an exclusive breakfast at Fortnum & Mason on Thursday, 12th of September to discuss our findings with a panel of industry experts. If you are interested in attending, please apply for a complimentary space by emailing events@matterofform.com.
