Their mission is to enable and encourage young adults to be entrepreneurial digital creators to thrive in an increasingly digital, interconnected world and to ultimately help strengthen their career opportunities in life. A cause very close to our hearts at Matter Of Form as a digital consultancy.

For both cohorts, we delivered a two-part Strategy 101 workshop to get to the heart of what a career in strategy means. Led by Esme Smith, Junior Strategist, and Kate Pfeil, Senior Strategist, the students were given an insight to their own personal journeys, day-to-day workload and how they tackle briefs from the world's leading brands.

We tasked our attendees to come up with a new Gen-Z hotel concept for Marriott International, with the challenge that it must have a strong overarching brand idea. The students were presented with a hypothetical creative brief around Marriott’s desire to penetrate younger markets together with a series of audience insights about what Gen Z might look for in a hotel. Over two days, we discussed how the students might bring their hotel concepts to life across an array of touchpoints.

We were blown away by their creativity, perceptive trends-driven ideas and passionate energy during the workshop. We heard fascinating suggestions around how hospitality brands can use NFTs and cryptocurrencies, attract digital nomads, drive social engagement and adopt themes such as anime to attract more nuanced audiences.

We couldn’t help but share these digital moodboards created by Hadley, one of the students, that took part in the workshops. Just one example of the initiative taken by the students and incredible aptitude for a career in branding.

Sarah Wilson, Co-Founder of DigiLearning commented on the partnership: "Matter Of Form have done it again! Delivering a truly interactive and fun workshop for our students. The students gain so much – an understanding of branding, design and strategy, a fun and structured brief, helping them build their skills, and tons of tips and strategies to improve how they work. Kate, Esme & Juliet created a truly engaging and enjoyable session not only facilitating but signing up as mentors for our students and offering work experience placements too. Thank you for the fabulous workshop and the fun MOF; we truly appreciate your support in training the next generation of talent."

We look forward to continuing our partnership with the DigiLearning team, delivering more interactive workshops to inspire the next generation of digital creatives and taking part in their one-on-one GirlRise & DigiRise mentorship programmes.
